Salted caramel and chocolate tart

For all you beautiful gluttons out there try this dark and delicious tart. Not only is it unbelievably bad for you but it is also incredibly easy. With only 5 ingredients and pretty much no effort, why wouldn't you serve this for dessert at your next dinner party.

Goats Cheese Tortellini with Capsicum Puree

I know what most of your are thinking 'Eeeww goats cheese' and I used to be in that boat too.
Until one day I went to a funky little tapas bar in Yarraville called Dig a Pony. They serve these little balls of goats cheese with honey and caramelised onion. I swear they are one of the nicest things I have ever eaten, I still dream about them and am always hanging for my next visit to Yarraville so I can gorge myself.

Plum and Rosemary Lamb Shanks

Another one from my big book of one pot cooking. This was the first time I have ever cooked lamb shanks. It just goes to prove that you can cook anything you put your mind too. All it takes is a little organisation and a good recipe.

Green Tea Cupcakes

In my household we are big big fans of bocconcini and prosciutto. So when I came across this recipe I was very excited to make it for my partner for lunch.

Sticky Chilli Chicken

I once made a dish similar to this when I was a teenager and while cooking I got distracted. Lets just say it turned out very sticky, in fact it was so sticky it stuck to the bottom of the pan (not to mention it was charcoal!)

Scone top casserole

I would only be repeating my self when I say I love casseroles. This recipe is from my bible aka Super Food Ideas: One Pot Cooking, although I have changed it a little to make it even more time friendly. I got this book last winter and it is easily my most used cook book.
