Mars Bar Crackles

The last in a week of party food. And what a long, exhausting but exciting week it has been. My baby boy is now two years old and becoming more independent everyday.
This post was meant to go up yesterday but obviously I had a million other things on my mind, the first being ensuring that my baby had a fun day.

So here it is, the party treat that I think is probably close to number one for kids at a party (well aside from fairy bread but whats the point in telling you how to do that?!)

The good ol' Chocolate Crackle. Every kid and adult would have eaten hundreds of these in their life. I found this recipe at kidspot, which by the way is a great website for a tonn of kid friendly food. I changed these a litte though. There also a little different to the traditional crackle. And if your anything like me you get half way through a full size crackle, it tends to get a bit sickening, So these are espcially great because they are mini.

Ingredients:
200g Mars Bars, chopped
2 tbsp of pouring (thin) cream
2 tsp cocoa powder, sifted
3 cups Rice Bubbles

Method:
1. Line a 24 hole mini muffin tray with paper cases. In a microwave safe bowl place the mars bars, cream and cocoa powder. Heat in the microwave for 2-3 mins stirring after evry 30 seconds.
2. In a seperate larger bowl, place the rice bubbles. Add the mars bar mixture and stir until all the rice bubbles are well coated and all the ingredients are combined.
3. Fill the paper cases with the rice buble mixture and place in the fridge to set, approx 2 hours.
4. Serve and stand back!

Enjoy :)
